Download OPD

The OPD1026R program is the recommended Appointed Counsel Fee Application program for attorneys who are reimbursed by the Office of the Ohio Pubic Defender. This program supports periodic billing for long running cases.

The current version of this software is v4.0. If you are installing this on a PC that is running an older (2.05 or earlier) version of this program, you can try to migrate the old data by running this tool after the installation of the new version is complete: Download – migrateData. If for some reason the tool is unable to migrate the data, please contact us at the email/number shown below.

Prior to installing the new versions shown below please verify the following:
1. If you have any antivirus software running on your PC or laptop, go to the Settings for that software and add an exception or exclusion for this folder C:\OOPD64 (or C:\OOPD32 if you are installing the 32 bit version).
2. Quickbooks cannot be running at the same time as the OPD1026R program. Please close Quickbooks before running OPD1026R.

NOTE: To prevent any data loss, especially for long running cases, we strongly recommend that you use the Backup function within the program. Perform a backup at least once a month, and save the backed up file in a separate location.

Those who are still on older versions of Windows may need to install the 32-bit version. Please click on the link below, and follow the prompts to save the file to your hard disk. After the download is complete, run InstallOOPD40_32.exe to install the program.
